The senses consume. The mind digests. The blog expels.
Certain individuals keep telling me that I should be a writer (Hi Mom). This is probably as close as I'll ever come to making that happen.

I love these commercials! They're my all time favorite... And working for who I do, I see a lot of really cool commercials.
That was cute!
Tink: I like Mac (the one in the real ads), personally. He seems like a pretty balanced, caring sort of guy. PC is a dork, which is of course the entire point.
Some of my best friends are Mac owners, perhaps because as a non-Mac owner they know they can't impose on me to help them with their computer problems.
Eric: Sure you don't. ;)
Kindness of Strangers, yes! Hope you're enjoying it. A lot of good stuff on there.
Bret: Indeed. I think my favorite is "Cakewalk", and then the "Flow" suite. One of the things that caught me a little by surprise is how much SB seem to have been influenced by Gentle Giant. Some of the time signatures and the keyboards could have come right off Free Hand.
Agreed. There are also homages in the madrigal style vocals in some of their longer compositions throughout the catalog.
If you haven't picked it up yet, I highly recommend "V" -- amazingly good stuff.
Thanks for posting the commercial spoofs. The "money" one is still cracking me up, and I suspect I'll be asking colleagues, "Are you high?" for the next couple of weeks.
