Turtle and I are "fixin' ta" head out on our holiday trip
bright dark and early tomorrow morning and won't be back until the day before the ball drops. Dad joined the 21st century earlier this year and now has broadband internet, so I may have a chance to check in before we get home. Or I may not.
With all the distractions—such as my two godhatchlings, my ex-high school crush (who wants to talk to Turtle about her business), Turtle's ex-hair stylist, and my in-laws' bottle of Old No. 7—who can say?
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a complete lack of fruitcake.

Be careful and have a great Christmas! You're not headin' to Glasgow again are you? :)
Anne: You're about 35 miles off--but that's only the first leg of the trip. =)
...and by the way, I can't tell you how thrilled I am that we'll be going through Nashville today. On a Friday. Middle of rush hour. Briley Parkway alone will add an hour to our travel time.
In Dallas, people get all NASCAR and aggressive during rush hour (or any time, actually); in Nashville, they just get kind of slow and... yanno... slow.
*Sobs uncontrollably* No Foo and Turtle for HOW LONG?!
Fine.
Happy Christmahanukuanzica for what it's worth.
Oh and... Have fun.
Merry Christmas, y'all!
Simply: enjoy.
Wishing you and yours a Foo-lish Christmas!
See you next year in lovely downtown Allen and this time YOU'RE buying!
Bill
Happy travels and a very Merry Christmas, Foo and family!
