Merry Christmas!

Sweetie and I are on the road for holiday visits, so we went ahead and exchanged gifts before we left town.

I've been eyeing this cycling jersey for a while but willpower prevailed. Thank heaven Sweetie went ahead and got it for me. Stylin'.

The kittens, stoned to their eye teeth on catnip toys.

I don't have much access to the internet at my folks' place or my in-laws, so I won't be posting to the blog much until we get home. Never fear, though. I'll do my best to catch up on comments and to come up with some tales to tell.

Merry Christmas to all and to all some spiked eggnog.

Well, we did have a good time at Disney, except for some drama, which I'll be talking about.

Merry Christmas! (And yes, where's Sweetie?)

I'm with Susie - nice pants. Hey, are those fuzzy socks?

Susie: Those are my PJs, the thing to my right is a bottle of cabernet that Sweetie got me because of the name: Red Bicyclette or somesuch. No, we're not home yet, and to tell you the truth I'm not quite sure which day today is.

But soon, I think. Sweetie misses the kittens.

Fred and Susie: No picture of Sweetie mostly because she was the one taking pictures. I don't touch Sweetie's camera.

Anne: Yes, those are fuzzy socks. They're old and relatively cozy, but I only wear them because I haven't be able to locate a pair of Heckle and Jeckle slippers like the ones Val Kilmer had in Real Genius.

See "y'all" soon.

Susie is the "blogstalker". I decided to post pics of myself after being stalked by her. :)

When you say those socks are old - I'm guessing they are VERY old if they're fuzzy. I mean, I had a pair of those in, let's say, 4th grade.

Susie: Gee whiz, you're bloody relentless, aren't you? Since you have so much time on your hands and since I won't have any way to get pictures up to the blog until I get home, here's a clue: there's at least one picture among my postings that shows Sweetie and me in our bike club togs.

Now, go fetch. (mwahaha.)

Anne: the socks are kind of old, but not that fuzzy. They're just thermal socks like you'd find in the L.L. Bean catalogue.

Hang on, kids. Just a couple more days, then I'll try to fill you in on the eight-state Christmas tour. Maybe by Saturday.

I had some fuzzy socks back in my early school years - fuzzy like a long-haired furry monster. I guess that was fun for around the house but I had to wear them to school sometimes and the fur would poke out through the holes in my shoes. I have such fond memories of childhood.

By the way, I'm not sure if Susie will be able to hold out until Saturday.

No stalking allowed! I've had my share of weirdos and stalkers in my life time, so please digress. Do continue the humorous banter, comments and chatter. I'm really enjoying it!

This morning, at the end of this week's obligatory commute to the office, I turned in to the driveway and was accosted by the biggest ho...
